Isolation of industrial facilities
If the investor has energy efficency and protection of the building from weather conditions in mind, a proper thermal insulation of the building will be a key element for him. Wall and roof composite panels can be used for this purpose. In today’s post we will describe their construction and application.
Types of composite panels
There are different types of composite panels available tn the market and they differ in the material of construction. The most common type are those made of polystyrene foam. They have low weight, a good level of thermal insulation and high strenght. However, they are not suitable for buildings with a possibility of very high temperatures. Layered polystyrene panels are mainly used as insulation material in buildings such as:
- commercial facilities,
- cold stores.
Another type are panels with mineral wool, which are perfect for making acoustic and thermal insulation. Their additional advantage is non-flammability and restistance to mould and fungus. We also distinguish polyurethane composite panels – they have much better thermal insulation properties than those with wool or foamed polystryrene. As a result, their price is also higher – but they are suitable for energy-efficient rooms.
Money saving
In case of investing in wall and roof composite panels, the process of construction a building is not complicated and at the same time fast, and most of all, realatively cheap. The panels are ready-made components, which can be assembled to any structure in a flash.
Working time plays a key role in cost optimization, especially in the construction services market. By choosing composite panels, you can be sure of a short commissioning time, and thus a faster start of usage. This is especially important for business investments, because it speeds up the process of getting a return on your investment.
Fast and smooth installation
Composite panels are characterized by particularly low weight, which makes their installation practically trouble-free. What is more, installation of composite panels does not depend on weather – it can be done even in unfavourable weather conditions.
It is also worth noting that composite panels can be dismantled just as easily. It is a particular importance in the case of the need to make technological changes in the object, e.g. structural extension. A previously dismantled plate can be reused, so they are reusable.
